2026 Commercial Vehicle Show: Unveiling Ford’s Transit City

Recently, Ontime Automotive was delighted to support Ford at the 2026 Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC, assisting in the unveiling of the all-new Transit City.

Bringing a major vehicle launch to life takes far more than simply getting vehicles from A to B. It takes careful planning, technical preparation, specialist transport and on-site coordination…and this project was a great example of multiple divisions working together to deliver exactly that.

Before the show began, our Technical Services Team prepared Ford’s vehicles at our Chelmsford site, ensuring each one was ready for display and presented to the highest standard. From there, our Transport Team handled the safe delivery of the vehicles to the NEC, making sure they arrived on time and in pristine condition for one of the commercial vehicle industry’s biggest events.

Once on site, our Events Team supported with stand preparation and vehicle positioning, helping ensure Ford’s display was ready for visitors from day one. Their work behind the scenes played an important part in creating a polished, professional presence for such a major launch.

After a busy day under the spotlight, our Transport Team got back involved to manage the collection of the newly launched vehicles, ensuring they were carefully moved and kept in pristine condition ready for their next display.
