Roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) shipping is usually quicker and cheaper, with cars being driven on and off the vessel by port staff. Container shipping is ideal for cars which cannot be driven on and off ships as easily, such as classic cars, non-running vehicles or those which need to be handled with especial care.
