BEN TO BENEFIT FROM THE SALE OF SIGNED PREMIERSHIP FOOTBALL SHIRTS, COURTESY OF AN ONTIME AUTOMOTIVE CLIENT TRIP TO LE MANS

Europe’s leading supplier of automotive support services, Ontime Automotive, treated a party of 20-plus members of the automotive industry to a weekend at the Le Mans 24 Hour race this June, including Andrew Bevan of the AA.
Bevan persuaded each of the guests to contribute money for the Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund (Ben): a sum matched by Ontime Automotive to give a total of £740.
Not to be outdone, the coach company transporting the party to and from France, Ellisons, offered to acquire a pair of signed premiership football shirts via such regular clients of the firm as Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool etc. Once received, these desirable items of football memorabilia will be auctioned at a forthcoming Ben event (e.g. the Ben Ball in December), where they are expected to fetch a minimum of £400-£500 each.
